Angie’s Eternal Matters

Hey Girls, I’m Angie, and I’m so happy to meet you! Sure do wish I could jump off of this page and give you a great big hug.

I know the purpose of this page is to tell you a little bit about me, but I would much rather hear about you. Maybe we can do that another time, but for now, here goes.

Even after 30 years of marriage, I am still in love with Jay Dennis. Every Sunday as he stands up to preach, my heart beats a little faster as I see his spiky blond hair and cute dimples. The greatest thing he ever did for me is give me my 2 precious children: Will and Emily. Will is a law student at Liberty University and Emily just graduated with her degree in Speech Pathology from Ouachita Baptist University (our Alma mater)! They are truly the joy of my life. God graciously gave our Will a helpmate this past July, our wonderful Julia. She is a social worker and touches everyone she comes into contact with.

As I write this, I am still struggling with the effects of breast cancer. Girls, I’m tellin’ you, I’m a mess! Have you ever heard of a “floating implant”? Well, hang on and grab a life vest because do I ever have a story for you!

I LOVE being the pastor’s wife at FBC @ the Mall in Lakeland, Florida. Yep, you read right, a mall. Once again, I can’t wait to tell you about it.

I just love women. All size, all shapes, all colors, I love women. I love talking to them, listening to them, mentoring them and learning from them. I can hardly believe that God gives me the glorious opportunity of teaching them!

I love transparency. I want you to know that I struggle with fear, anxiety, depression at times, just like some of you. I also love to talk about how you and I can overcome those struggles, because we CAN.

Speaking of struggles, one of the best things that has come out of the breast cancer is a whole new look at life. God has shown me that even though I’m missing a breast, there is so much more to me than externals. I sure am looking forward to that new, heavenly body, aren’t you? But until then, I am learning to be content with the very used, slightly beaten up, rickety frame that I live in.

I’m looking forward to talking with you about strengthening and growing the inner you – the ONLY part that will matter for eternity.

Let me connect with you, by connecting with me through this website.

I think you’re terrific!

Pressing On,

Angie
